Ara: Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, administration postponed joint entrance examination for admission to the B.Ed colleges on Tuesday. The examination was to be held from July 12 onward. Now the examination will be held after the verdict of Patna High Court.

Vice-Chancellor Leela Chand Sah said that after announcement of dates for the joint entrance examination for B.Ed, those running private B.Ed colleges moved Patna High Court against the government and the governor and filed a writ petition there. The court reserved the order after hearing.He said the date of examination would be announced after the verdict. The VC said that if the verdict goes in favour of the private B. Ed colleges, the examination would be held for 600 seats only and if it goes in favour of the government, examination would be held for 1,800 seats.

He said that evaluation of the answer- books of B A Part I and B A Part II would start from July 11 and all formalities had been completed. He said that the answer-books of Part I would be examined at Shankar College, Sasaram, and Jagjiwan College, Ara, while that of Part II would evaluated at SP Jain College, Sasaram, and MMMM College, Ara. Lists of examiners is ready and Central Superintendent would be sent to the evaluation centres soon, said the VC.
