Ara: Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara,  and its constituent colleges have published merit lists of the students for admission to different subjects in Post Graduate (PG) courses. With the publication of merit lists, students are making beeline to the departments concernd colleges concerned to takr e admission in PG courses. Science faculty of the PG had received the maximum number applications for admission followed by departments of History and Political Science.

Vice-Chancellor, VKSU, Leela Chand Sah said admission process started from Wednesday and the students would have to get admission in the PG classes by the end of July. The university administration has sent a letter to all the PG department heads asking them to submit the merit lists of students to the Dean Students Welfare. He said that the university had prepared computerized merit lists of the students but due to some inaccuracy and error, the PG departments were asked to prepare fresh merit lists. The students were directed to get themselves admitted in the PG classes by Monday otherwise second merit lists would be published. The VC said that after end of admission process, classes would be started.

Meanwhile, BEd classes have not started in the new building of the VKSU at zero mile so far. Education Minister, Bihar, Ashok Chaudhary had inaugurated the new building in June, 2016 for purpose. This new building was inaugurated after agitation by different student unions and the VC had assured to start B Ed classes of  2016-2018 session from July.
