Ara: The matter of filling of FIR with Town police station in connection with a clash in between rival groups of inmates of Ara Remand Home on July 18 evening has acquired a controversial hue.  Superintendent of  Remand Home Amrendra Kumar Singh said that a named FIR has been lodged with the Town police station against six inmates of the Remand Home while the SHO police station  said that he had not received even an application from the Superintendent of the Remand Home in this regard so far.

Superintendent, Remand Home, Amrendra Kumar Singh said that a named FIR has been lodged with Town police station against six inmates of the Remand Home on his statement and the injured Havildar was made an eyewitness of the case. He said all the accused inmates are now adult and they would be punished if their guilt was proved and they might be forwarded to Ara jail for further action.

Six inmates of Ara Remand Home located in Dhanupura locality under Town police station and a Havildar Dev Kumar Singh were injured in the clash and admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital.

Akhilesh Yadav of Rohtas had come to Ara Remand Home to meet his brother Manji Yadav on July 18 evening. Manji Yadav talked with his family member on the mobile of his brother. The Havildar on duty objected toit that led to tussle inside the Remand Home. Hearing Manji shouting, other inmates came there. Some of them also asked him not to use mobile after which the inmates divided into two groups and clashed in which half a dozen inmates were injured.
