Villagers recover 5,000 empty liquor bottles from well in W Champaran

Bagaha : Th residents of village Reraha under Bhitaha police station in West Champaran district on September 7, 2017, evening forcibly recovered about 5,000 empty bottles of liquor from a well owned by one Gopi Sah of the village, who was in jail for several months for preparing illicit liquor. He again got engaged in this trade after coming out of jail.

Sources at the village said that Gopi Sah had kept the empty bottles hidden in the well and stealthily packed country liquor in these bottles and supplied to the consumers. The villages informed SHO, Bhitaha police station, and also intimated Bagaha SP Arbind Kumar Gupta about it and demanded appropriate action. Bhitaha police reached there and investigating into the matter.
