ACJM, Narkatiaganj, asks SP to take action against SHO, Shikarpur

Bagaha : Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM), Narkatiaganj in West Champaran district, Girish Mishra, in a communication to the SP, West Champaran on September 7, 2017, a copy of which was also sent to the District and Sessions Judge, has drwan his attention to the deteriorating law and order under Shikarpur police station. Narkatiaganj, a Sub- Divisional headquarters, falls under Shikarpur police station.

The ACJM, in his letter, has stated that he had called SHO, Shikarpur police station, Chandrasekhar Prasad Gupta on September 7 and told him that boozers were creating nuisance daily around court premises and on the road and the same should be checked immediately. But, the SHO replied to the ACJM that this was happening across the state not only under Shikarpur police station under Narkatiaganj Sub-division, the ACJM stated. The SHO said that he remains preoccupied with providing safety and security to Bankers and jewellers. Police and security guards had been deployed on the court campus to mentain law and order. The AJCM said that starn action should be taken immediately against the SHO.
