Buxar : Irate villagers blocked Ramgarh – Chausa road in Buxar district for about two hours on October 28, 2017, morning, paralysing the movement of vehicles after a speeding truck crushed to death a married woman the same day. They burnt tyres on the road and demanded arrest of the driver and compensation to the family of the deceased. The blockade was lifted after positive assurance from the local officials.
Runita Devi, 22, wife of Dadan Gond, a mason, of village Banarpur under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district was crushed to death by a speeding sand laden truck near Banarpur Panchayat Bhawan on the Ramgrh-Chausa main road on October 28 morning when she was going to the field to attend call of the nature.
