Villagers block Ara – Mohania road to protest murder

Ara : Irate villagers blocked Ara-Mohania main road near Isadhi village under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district with a body on SMay 12, 2018, paralysing the movement of vehicles. They burnt tyres on road and raised slogans against the district administration. They were demanding immediate arrest of the killers and Rs 10 lakh compensation to the next of kin of the deceased. The blockade was lifted after three hours after positive assurance from police officials.

SDPO, Jagdishpur, Manjeet Sirmaur said that some unidentified armed miscreants slit the throat of farmer Ram Bali Yadav when he was guarding his field at village Haradiya under Jagdishpur police station on May 11 night. The reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. He said that a team of Forensic Science Laboratory is examining the matter.
