Muzaffarpur : Tension prevails at village Baligaon in Vaishali district following death of a  bike borne villager Manoj Kumar Sah, 22, and injury to four others as a Sakra police station team in Muzaffarpur district hit his bike with a stick on NH 28 during a vehicle checking drive after which he fell on the ground and came under the wheels of a pick-up van and died on the spot on June 22, 2017, evening. Manjoj Kumar Sah died on the spot while three others including a woman and three children were injured.

Manoj was a resident of village Baligaon under Baligaon police station in Vaishali district. The place of occurrence falls on Sakra – Baligaon border. Shocked at the police action, a furious mob attacked the police team, took the body under its custody and blocked the traffic on the road. Police fired in the air to disperse the mob but the blockade continued till late June 22 night. The protesters were demanding suspension of all the cops posted at Sakra police station. SSP, Muzaffarpur, Vivek Kumar, has deployed adequate force in the area.
