New Delhi : Union HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on July 3, 2019, inaugurated the 8th Deputy Commissioners’ Conference of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathana (KVS) in New Delhi. The three-day annual conference of KVS is being attended by all Deputy Commissioners of its 25 Regions and 5 Directors of Zonal Institutes of Education and Training (ZIETs).

Addressing the inaugural session, Dr. Nishank said that top leadership shall adopt highly positive approach for achieving positive results. He said that small initiatives can also bring big changes in the society and we shall motivate the children to adopt habits which can bring changes in long run. He emphasised on adopting the habit of water conservation and cleanliness by children. For a strong and prosperous India, we have to prepare a dedicated entrepreneurial generation. Our schools have the responsibility of preparing the country’s future leadership, he said.

Union HRD Minister, who also holds the post of Chairman, KVS, announced that the pending results for the examinations held for various posts of KVS will be declared within a week. The kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will announce these results on July 8, 2019, he said, according to a PIB release.

Ram Chandra Meena, Joint Secretary, MHRD, who is also the Vice Chairman of KVS, congratulated the senior leadership of KVS for the outstanding performance in various fields, be it Academics, Sports, or Art & Culture. Commissioner, KVS, Santosh Kumar Mall welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries on this occasion and outlined the agenda of this three day conference.
