Unidentified woman killed by criminals at Saharsa village

Saharsa: Some criminals killed an unidentified middleage woman by slitting her throat at village Jarsain under Saharsa Sadar police station on March 7, 2017, night. After killing the woman, the criminals dumped her body in a wheat field. Police took the body under their custody after being informed by the villagers about murder of a woman on March 8 morning. The post-mortem of the body was performed at Saharsa Sadar hospital on March 8. Police are trying to identify the deceased.

SHO, Sadar police station, Bhai Bharat said that police found a bag near the body with Rs 150 and some cosmetics inside it. He said the criminals had not touched her gold earring and payal. But, her mobile phone was missing though the charger was found. The SHO said that the woman was probably returning after attending a yajna at village Gobardaha.
