Son-in-law, grand daughter of BSNL employee shot at by colleague in Saharsa

Saharsa : A BSNL employee Rajendra Pandey shot at son-in-law and 16 year grand daughter of another BSNL employee Kamleshwari Sah at later’s Sonbersa Bazaar residence at 9.30 pm on March 8, 2017. Sah’s grand daughter Sanjana Kumari died on the spot while his son-in-law Subodh Gupta was seriously injured and referred to Saharsa Sadar hospital by the doctor of Primary Health Centre (PHC), Sonbersa Raj.

Although Rajendra Pandey escaped after firing at Subodh and his daughter Sanjana, police conducted raids and soon arrested him. Subodh and Sanjana had come to Saharsa from Begusarai to spend some days at Sonbersa Raj in Saharsa district. SHO, Sonbersa Raj police station, Mohd Ijhar said that the incident was a fallout of some dispute between Sah and Pandey and police had started investigation into the matter. Sources said Pandey, a native of Gaya district, entered the house of Sah at 9.30 pm and fired at Subodh and Sanjana
