Patna : Armed criminals shot dead an Ultrasound mechanic Arvind on September 3, 2018, late night in Paliganj locality in Patna district. Police said that Arvind had sustained single bullet injury on his chest when he was driving his bike. After sustaining bullet injury, Arvind stopped his bike near Bander Bagicha and sat there for a while.

Some villagers, who were passing through the locality, informed police about the incident. On getting information, SDPO, Paliganj, Manoj Pandey and local police reached there and admitted him to a local private hospital where
doctor found bullet had stuck inside his body. A seriously injured Arvind was being taken to PMCH but succumbed to his injury mid-way.
Police said that Arvind was a resident of Ramjichak in Digha and was working as an Ultrasound mechanic at Patna on contract. He had gone to Gaya in connection with some work and was returning home on his bike through Arwal when the incident took place.
According to Paliganj SDPO Manoj Pandey, Arvind had no idea where he was shot at. He told police that his
cellphone had exploded and that was the reason behind blood oozing out from his body, the SDPO said. Pandey said that when the doctor examined him, he found that Arvind had been hit by a bullet. He said that local police were  investigating into incident.
