Two youth die in train mishap in Buxar

Buxar : Two youth were crushed to death under the wheel of a running train at Dharauli Halt near Buxar railway station under Danapur Ddivision of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on March 16, 2020,  evening.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the  bodies and sent them to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased were identified as Sandeep Kumar and Ramesh Kumar of village Dharauli.

SHO, GRP, Buxar, Awadhesh Kumar Singh said that Sandeep Kumar and Ramesh Kumar visited Ara daily from Buxar to attend coaching classes. When on March 16, 2020, both the youth came to Dharauli Halt to catch train, they saw that a passenger train was standing on down line. They crossed the rail track to catch the train but came under the wheel of a running Express train coming on Up line and were crushed to death.
