Two sisters drowned to death in Vaishali

Hajipur: Two sisters drowned to death in a small river near village Baikunthpur under Rajapakar police station in Vaishali district on Tuesday afternoon. The two sisters had gone to take bath in the river, which was in spate due to rains, close to their village.  Both the sisters were trapped in strong currents and drowned in the river. Shockingly, none of the villagers who were standing nearby stopped the girls from entering the river. The bodies of both sisters were later fished out by the villagers.
