Two persons killed in Bhojpur accident

Ara : Two persons were killed when their speeding motorcycles collided head-on near village Banauli Bar on Ara-Arwal mail road under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district on June 8, 2018, evening.

Police seized the two motorcycles and brought the bodies over to  Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Iqbal, 38, of village Dhobahi  under Agiaw Bazaar police station and Tunna Singh of village Berath under Sahar police station.

SHO, Narayanpur police station, said that Md Iqbal was coming to Ara on his motorcycle on June 8 evening. When he reached near village Banauli Bar on Ara-Arwal main road, another motorcycle collided head-on with his bike in a bid to overtake a truck. Md Iqbal was killed on the spot while Tunna Singh succumbed to his injuries at Ara Sadar Hospital.
