Bagaha: Nasim Akhatar, 24, son of Nabi Hussain of village Zamadartola under Chautarawa police station in West Champaran district, and his friend were kidnaped on late December 28 evening while ruturning to his house from Bagaha by a motorbike by a gang of kidnappers.Chautarawa police have recovered the bike and their shoes and socks lying abandoned beside NH 28 ( b).
Bagaha SP Shankar Jha accompanied by Chautarawa police station SHO Dipak Samrat visited the place of occurrence on December 29 morning. The SP said that prima facie it was a case of kidnapping. A case has been registered with Chautarawa police station in this connection. Police have spread their dragnets to recover the kidnapped persons, the SP said.
