Ara : Thirtynine ANMs took oath at Ara Sadar Hospital on December 29 at the time of joining clinical duty after completing their training. The function was inaugurated jointly by the acting Civil Surgeon Vikas Singh, Deputy Superintendent, Ara Sadar Hospital, Dr Satish Sinha and Dr Prateek by lighting the candle. Dr Vikas Singh administered oath to the ANMs that they would discharge their duty with honesty and dedication, serve the patients with affection, follow the ideals of nursing service and never advice harmful medicines to anyone. Dr Satish Sinha said that ANMs should work honestly and with dedication as the patients trust them nurse most after doctors. Earlier, Principal, ANM school, Asha Kumari took the trained ANMs to the conference hall in a procession.
