Sitamarhi: A Sitmarhi STF team on December 20 arrested two criminals involved in demanding extortion from the people near Ring Bandh locality with five mobile phones. The arrested criminals : Manish Ram and Rahul Kumar, are said to be members of Muzaffarpur based Sarvesh Das gang. Both belong to Hathauri police station inMuzaffarpur district.
Sitamarhi SP Hari Prasath S said that both criminals were wanted in several cases of extortion and levy demand under a few police stations of the district. They had recentlydemanded Rangdari from a medicine dealer
of Sitamarhi town. The other members of the gang would be arrested soon, added the SP.
