Muzaffarpur : A Litchi Conserbation Plant would be set up at Litchi Research Centre, Mushari, in Muzaffarpur district under a joint excercise by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and NRCL. It will benefit Litchi growers and traders. Litchi can be preserved for 60 days under the new technique, said BARC scientist S K Ghosh. This would save huge quantity of Litchi from getting damaged. Muzaffarpur Litchi is exported to 10 countries. Muzaffarpur Litchi Research Centre is a top class research centre and over one hundred scientists do reseach here.
