Two arrested female teachers St Xavier School, Patna, sent to jail

Patna: Two lady teachers of premier institution St Xaviers School located on the western side of Patna Gandhi Maidan were on Saturday sent to jail after interrogation by Police.

Patna Senior SP (SSP) Manu Maharaaj said on Saturday both the teachers have been forwarded to jail. He said that the case seems to be true as the medical report of the girl child supports her charge. The girl, an LKG student,  student has levelled serious charges against the two school teachers in her statement recorded under section 164 of CrPC, he added.

It may be mentioned here that the girl’s grandfather, a retired police officer, had filed a complaint with the Gandhi Maidan police station on November 3 alleging that his granddaughterhad told her mother that Bari and Choti Maam of the school used to fiddle with her private parts in a lonely room of the school.

The matter came to light when the girl complained of acute pain in  her body and her mother was shocked to see some injury marks on her private part. Then the child spilled the beans giving a rude shock to her mother. She told her mother that both the teachers used to take her to a lonely room where they fiddled with her private part after undressing her.  A case was lodged under section 376 of IPC and Protection of Child from sexual offences Act, 2012, against the two arrested female teachers of the school.
