Tsitsipas & Aliassime to clash in Open 13 Provence final

Patna :  Second seed & World No 6 Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, and World No 18 Felix Auger-Aliassime, 19, Canada, will clash in the final of Open 13 Provence, an ATP Tour 250 event played on indoor hard courts at Marseille, France, at 6.30 pm on February 23, 2020, evening.

Tsitsipas beat World No 55 Alexander Bublik, 22, Kazakhstan, 7-5, 6-3 in 68 minutes in semi-finals on February 22, 2020, late night. Tsitsipas won 3 break points in the match to 1 by Bublik. Both the players won 3 games each in a row in the match. Bublik though fired 8 Aces to 6 by the Greek.Tsitsipas, in all, won 65 points to 46 by Bublik. Second seed Tsitsipas won 43 service points to 35 by Bublik.

Aliassime, the 7th seed, beat World No 58 Gilles Simon, 35, France, 7-5, 7-6 in 1hr 59 minutes in semi-finals on February 22 evening. Aliassime fired 5 Aces in the match to 1 by Simon, who had stunned top seed Daniil Medvedev, 24, Russia, in QFs on February 21, 2020. the Canadian won 2 break points to 1 by Simon. Aliassime won 5 games in a row in the match to 3 by Simon.  The Canadian, in all, won 81 points to 71 by Simon. Both the players won 50 service points each in the match.
