Traffic between Patna – Jehanabad disrupted after death of man in accident

Patna: Following attack on a police team at Kurthoula under Parasa police station in Patna district, road traffic between Patna and Jehanabad was disrupted on Sunday morning. Trouble started following death of a motorcyclist on the road. He was hit by a tractor and died on the spot. Angry villagers blocked the road  demanding compensation. When a team of Punpun police station went there to clear the traffic jam, they were pelted with stones and one of the stones hit the head of a police sub-inspector. He was rushed to the hospital. Policemen from Parsa police station have also been sent there.
