Trader shot dead at Naubatpur

Patna : Vinod Sah, 55, a native of village Taret under Naubatpur police station in Patna district  who sold grains house to house on bicycle, was shot dead late May 17, 2018, night. Vinod Sah had left home on May 17 noon but did not return home.

Police recovered Vinod Sah’ body around 12.30 pm from Gopalpur pyne on May 18, said SHO, Naubatpur police station, Nitesh Kumar, adding Navendu Singh of village Taret had been arrested in this connection on the basis of an FIR lodged by Santosh Kumar, son of Vinod Sah. SHO Nitesh Kumar said both Vinod and Navendu were suspected to be gamblers. Vinod Sah was shot dead probably after some dispute over money, the SHO added.
