Trader shot dead at Ara, police remain clueless

Ara : Motorcycle borne some miscreants shot dead a businessman near Jagjiwan College under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur District, on December 21, 2019, late evening, and escaped.

The deceased was identified as Harendra Singh of Kewatiya village but he lived at his own house in  Chandawa locality under Nawada police station, Ara. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with Nawada police station and police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

SHO, Nawada police station, said that Harendra Singh owned a hardware shop at Chandawa. He was returning home on his motorcycle after closing his shop in the late evening on December 21, 2019, and when he reached near Jagjiwan College, Ara, motorcycle borne armed miscreants shot at him from behind and escaped. The locals rushed him to Ara Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the Hospital.
