Ara : Students taking examination of Combined Preliminary Written Competitive Examination (CPWEC)  for the post of Sub-Inspector (CPWCE) went on rampage and made much hue and cry at Sri Jain Bala Vishram Examination Centre at Dharahara under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur District on December 22, 2019, and also instigated other examinees to boycott the examination after some mischief mongers spread rumour that the examination paper had been leaked. Later, police took some of the disturbing elements into custody and brought the situation under control.

Bhojpur District Magistrate (DM) Roushan Kushwaha said that the CPWCE was conducted peacefully at all the examination centres in the first sitting. He said that some examinees, believing a rumour, came out of the examination centre at Sri Jain Bala Vishram at Dharahara on their own and made much hue and cry and also instigated others to boycott the examination. The DM stated that such anti-social elements were taken into custody immediately and added that the question papers were not leaked. He appealed the examinees not to pay heed to rumour and take their examination peacefully.
