Three youth feared drowned in river Ganga at Mahuli Ghat

Ara : Three persons were feared drowned to death at Mahuli Ghat under Khawaspur police outpost in Bhojpur district on June 6, 2019, morning, while taking dip in river Ganga. Divers have been pressed into service but are yet to fish out the bodies.

SHO, Khawaspur police outpost, said that three youth along with their family members from Uttar Pradesh had come to Mahuli Ghat on June 6 morning for tonsuring. They went to take a dip in river Ganga but while taking bath all the three persons were swept away by the current of the river. On getting information, police rushed to the spot and pressed divers into service.
