Teenage girl killed, another injured in accident Bhojpur village

Ara : A teenage girl was killed and  another seriously injured when a speeding truck knocked them down at village Belauti  on Ara-Buxar NH-84 under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district on June 6, 2019.

Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. An FIR has been lodged with Shahpur police station in this connection. Police are investigating into the incident.

SHO, Shahpur police station, Chandan Kumar Jha said that Nikki Kumari, 18, daughter of Sanjay Tripathi, and Pujyanti Kumari, 17, daughter of Nand Kishore Ram of village Belauti were going to their coaching centre at Shahpur. They were waiting for a bus near a Sun Temple at Belauti when a speeding truck knocked them down. Nikki Kumari died on the spot while Pujyanti Kumari was injured. The doctor referred her to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of her serious condition.
