Two persons killed in train mishap in Bhojpur

Ara : Two persons fell from a running train between Jagjiwan Halt and Ara railway station under Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on June 6, 2019, and were crushed to death under the wheels.

The Government Railway Police (GRP), Ara, recovered the bodies from the rail track and brought them over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. One the deceased was identified as Ashok Kumar Paswan, 40, son of Ram Paswan of Dakshin Tola Kasia in Buxar district while the other is yet to be identified.

SHO, Ara GRP, said that Ashok Kumar Paswan and an unidentified person fell from a running train between Jagjiwan Halt and Ara railway station on June 6 morning and were crushed to death under the wheels of the train.
