Nawada: Nawada police arrested three more persons from different parts of the district on February 8 in connection with leakage of Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) clerical grade exams taking the total number of arrests to 23 of which 20 were sent to judicial custody on February 6 itself. Magadh range DIG Saurabh Kumar informed media- persons at Nawada on February 8 afternoon that a manhunt has been lodged to identify and arrest the remaining `actors' as well as the director’ of the scam and expressed confidence that they would be nabbed soon.

The DIG added the Nawada SIT team was formed on the direction of zonal IG Naiyyar Hassnain Khan. The Magadh range DIG had been directed to review the police investigation. He said the investigation was being conducted on very scientific basis, no less scientific than the culprits who too had adopted a very highly scientific method to plan and execute the entire scam. DIG Kumar informed that a “fully loaded” chargesheet would be submitted before the court so that the culprits are convicted.

Those arrested on February 8 were identified as Arvind Kumar from Bhaluahi village under Kauakol police station, Shivshankar Kumar from Arian village under Hisua police station and Ranjit Kumar of village Mafi under Warisaliganj police station.
