Bagaha: Three motorbike borne persons died near Bettiah aerodrome on Bettiah- Areraj road on Tuesday when a dry tree beside the road suddenly fell on the them. The deceased were identified as Sudama Prasad, Uditnarain Pprasad and Shreeram Sao of village of Barawat Sena under Muffasil police station, Bettiah, in West Champaran district. All threedied on the spot. They were going to Bettiah from their village.
SDM, Bettiah, Sunil Kumar and SDPO, Bettiah, Sanjay Kumar along with others officials reached the spot to inquire into the incident. The bodies were sent to MJK hospital, Bettiah, for autopsy. SDM Sunil Kumar announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased.
