Three killed in accident in W Champaran

Bagaha : Three motorbike borne persons including a woman and a three year old girl  were killed in a head on collision between the bike and a tractor on NH 28 (b) near Tiwari Petrol Pump, Lauria, under Lauria police station under Narakatiaganj Sub-Division in West Champaran district on October 28, 2017, late evening. But, a little baby in the lap of the deceased woman had a miraculous escape and is safe.

Sources said that Upendrr Mali, 32, his wife Rambhakt Devi with a little baby in her lap, and their daughter Baby Kumari, 3, of village Salaha-Bariyarwa under Chautarwa police station were returning home from their relative’s place after Chhath festival on October 28 late evening on a bike. But, the bike collided head on with a tractor near Tiwari Petrol Pump, Lauria, in which three of them were seriously injured. They were admitted to  Lauria Referral Hospital by some passersby where the doctors referred them to MJK District Hospital, Bettiah, where doctors declared Upendra Mali, his wife and their three year old daughter brought dead.
