Ara : Three youths were injured one of the seriously when three motorcycle borne unidentified criminals shot at them at Pakari Chowk under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district, around midnight on October 27, 2017.

The injured were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors there referred one of them to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of his critical condition. The injured were identified as Amit Kumar, son of Ram Prayag Singh, Sugu alias Vinit, son of Parmanand Pal, and Ravi Kumar, son of Dadan Paswan of Pakari under Nawada police station.

SDPO, Ara, Sanjay Kumar said that three motorcycle borne persons came to Pakari Chowk where these three youth were talking and opened fire on them injuring all the three and fled away. The SDPO said that an FIR was lodged with Nawada police station on the statement of the injured and added it would be too early to say anything on the issue.
