Three die in Muzaffarpur house collapse

Muzaffarpur: Three mechanics of a garage located near Chandni Chowk  under Brahmpura police station, Muzaffarpur, died when the house where the garage was located collapsed at 6 am on Sunday following heavy rains. The Muzaffarpur  district administration, on the directive of DM Dharmendra Singh, announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to all the three deceased. The incident sparked protest from th locals after which the place of occurrence was barricaded by police. Police were trying to pacify the people.
