Ara : Modesty of a minor girl was outraged at Maruti Nagar locality under Ara Town Police Station on May 19, 2017. People caught the accused red handed and thrashed him. The victim’s grand-father is contesting Ara Municipal Corporation elections from Ward Number 4. Sita Ram Singh, 55, followed the 10 year old girl and took her to a separate room of her house where he outraged her modesty. Hearing the cry of the girl, the family members went into the room and caught Sita Ram Singh. Incidentally, accused Sita Ram Singh, a neighbour, also has grandchild.
