Buxar : A named FIR was lodged with Women’s police station, Buxar, on January 29, 2019, in connection with rape of a teenage girl. The FIR was lodged on the statement of the survivor. Police are, however, yet to arrest the accused.
SHO, Krishnabrham police station, said that a teenage girl had gone to the field to bring fodder for her cattle where a youth of her village Pradeep Rai forcibly took her to a secluded place and outraged her modesty and fled away leaving her bleeding. He also threatened the girl with dire consequences if she dared say anything to anyone. Later, police admitted the girl ito Sub-Divisional Hospital at Dumbraon where the doctors referred her to Buxar Sadar Hospital.
