Ara: Three youth of village Kasap under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district caught a teenage girl of the same village near a field when she was returning from Brahm Baba temple at the village and gangraped her on March 18, 2018, morning.
The father of the girl works at a private firm in Hyderabad. Her family members were shocked when she narrated her ordeal to them on her return. The grandfather of the girl informed police who brought her over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. SHO, Udwantnagar police sation, said that the girl would be produced before the court on March 19, 2018, to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC.
The miscreants have outraged modesty of 11 minor girls in a month in Bhojpur district and moving scot free due to police inaction in these cases. All the police do is to bring the victims to the hospital for medical examination and produce them before the court to get their statements registered under section 164 of CrPC.
