Teenage girl commits suicide at Bhojpur village

Ara : A teenage girl committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of her house at village Imadpur under the same police station in Bhojpur district on January 24, 2019, night, after her lover refused to marry her. The family members, due to fear of social stigma, performed the last rites of the girl silently.

The girl was student at a private coaching centre at village Imadpur where a teacher lured her and allegedly made physical contact with her with a promise to marry her but he later refused. This disappointed the girl and she hanged herself to the ceiling of her house and committed suicide.
