Muzaffarpur: Police seized a tanker carrying Ethano at Phulwaria chowk on Motipur- Sahebganj road under Baruraj police station in Muzaffarpur district. The driver and Khalasi of the tanker were arrested by police. The arrested persons said that they were carrying spirit. Excise department officials examined the papers and confirmed that the tanker was carrying Ethanol. Baruraj police station SHO Pramod Kumar said that tanker was enroute Indian Oil Company office, Begusarai, from Narkatiaganj in West Champaran district. The SHO confirmed that the tanker was carrying Ethanol. He said that the arrested persons were being interrogatped.
