T P S College, Patna, Teacher Shivnarain Ram shot dead in broad daylight

Patna : Unidentified bike borne criminal shot dead a senior teacher of T P S Collage, Patna, Prof Shinarain Ram, 55, on a road near Janata Flat under Kankarbagh Police Station, Patna, on January 29, 2020. The criminal fired bullet on Prof Ram’s head. Prof Ram was rushed to PMCH where the doctor declared him brought dead. 

The broad daylight murder of a college teacher triggered panic among the people and the locals blocked Chiraiyatand Bridge for sometime to register their protest.

SHO, Kankarbagh Police Station, said that Prof Ram was shot dead around 10.30 am on January 29, 2020, by a bike borne criminal. He said that the family members of the deceased had not named any suspect so far. Police are recording their statements (Fard Bayan). He said that police were investigating into the incident from different angles including his enmity with anyone including at his college.
