STF arrests 3 gangsters in Katihar, recover looted police rifle, 2 pistols

Patna : A team of Special Task Force (STF) on September 21, 2018, carried out a major raid in Katihar and arrested three notorious gangsters. The arrested criminals have been identified as Rahul Kumar Singh, Dharmendra Kumar Singh, and Mohammad Labbu.

Sources said that IG(Operations) Kundan Krishnan received inputs that these gangsters had amassed arms and ammunition and were planning to commit some crime.  Soon after that, Kundan constituted a team led by STF SP Ranjit Mishra. The team laid a trap for the gangsters and carried out a raid in Katihar and arrested them.

STF team recovered a looted police rifle, two pistols, three magazines, live cartridges and a four- wheeler. The arrested criminals are being interrogated by STF sleuths.
