World No 5 Chou Tien Chen, Chinese Taipei, beat World No 7 Son Wan Ho, South Korea, 21-17, 21-14 in 39 minute to enter the SF of the tournament. World No 3 Shi Yuqi, China, beat World No 10 NG Ka Long Angus, Hong Kong, 21-17, 21-15 in 35 minute to enter the semi-finals of China Open.
