Bagaha : Two liquor smugglers : Ravindar Bind of village Lakshmipur and Santosh Mukhiya of Rampurawa under Valmikinagar police station in West Champaran district, were arrested by Jawans of 21st Battalion, SSB, Bagaha, posted at Rampurawa Border Outpost, on November 6, 2017, evening with 77 bottles of Nepali liquor when they were trying to sneak into Indian territory. An SSB officer Shailendra Kumar said that the arrested smugglers and seized liquor were handed over to Valmikinagar police station for necessary action.
Duplicate medicine factory busted : A police team led by SHO, Bagaha town police station, Mohd Ayub, on a tip off, unearthed a fake Dabar medicine factory at Ahiranitola locality under Nagar Parishad, Bagaha, on November 7, 2017, and seized five cartons of duplicate medicine and a large number of rappers of Dabar company and arrested Binod Soni for manufacturing fake medicine in the name of Dabar company for the last few months.
