Bagaha: SSB jawans of 27th battalion led by Inspector L H Singh, on a tip off, on January 18 carried out raid at the clinic of S K Prasad, a quack, at Sikata Bazaar in West Champaran and seized 2kg Charas worth Rs 30 lakh in international market. A smuggler Oasim Mian of Visawa under Parsa district in Nepal arrested in this connection. Sikta police lodged a case in this connection and the smuggler was sent to Bettiah district jail.
