SSB organises flood relief and health camps in Bagaha

Bagaha : The 21st battalion of SSB, Bagaha, organised health and flood relief camps at Raghia, Champapur, Serawa, Rupawalia, Aurahiya, Semarani Doan villages located in Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve under Ramnagar block under Bagaha sub-division in West Champaran district on August 29 and 30, 2017. The SSB officials distributed clothes, mattresses and tarpaulin sheets among flood affected people besides distributing notebooks and sports items among students of flood hit Government Primary School, Rupawalia.

At the health camps, over one thousand persons were examined while 724 patients including females and children were treated for high fever, acute gastroenteritis, infected wounds and other injuries, chest infection, skin diseases and joint pain, said Deputy commandant Nagmani Singh on August 31, 2017.
