Speeding tractor kills minor boy at Bhojpur village

Ara : A ten year boy was crushed to death by a tractor at village Dangauli under Sonbarsha police outpost on April 24, 2019. Police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Sonbarsha police outpost, said that Roshan Kishor, son of Ganga Dayal Sah, was engaged in agriculture work at Dangauli village  when he came under the wheel of a speeding tractor and was crushed to death. The irate villagers blocked Kesath-Sonbarsha main road near Dangauli village for about three hours with the body. They burnt tyres and paralysed movement of vehicles. They were raising slogans against Bhojpur district administration and demanded compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased.

The blockade was lifted after the Block Development Officer, Keshath block, assured payment of  compensation.
