Son makes abortive bid to put human excreta into mother’s mouth in Bagaha

Bagaha : Police are investigating into an incident in which Bodhan Sah of Tharu dominated village Lakshmipur under Valmikinagar police station in Bagaha police district allegedly made an abortive bid to force his widow mother Sarwsati Devi, 85, drink human excreta solution from an earthen pot on witchcraft charge on April 27, 2019.

SHO, Valmikinagar police station ,J P Singh said that forcing someone to drink excreta solution on witchcraft charge is  a serious offences and the same was being probed into.

Sources said Bodhan Sah’s wife Ramawati Devi had died one month back and an exorcist had convinced him that she died as someone had allegedly applied witchcraft on her. Bodhan Sah, elder son of Sarswati Devi, was living separately. Bodhan Sah called his son Pradip and two daughters : Sangita  and Ricky, on April 27 and brought solution of human excreta  in an earthen pot and unsuccessfully tried to put it into Saraswati Devi’s mouth. Hearing her cry, the neighbours rushed to her rescue and saved from the ordeal..
