Slain scribe’s brother lodges FIR against 9

Samastipur : Shyam Kishore Kamal, a CPM leader and brother of slain scribe Brajkishore Brajesh, has lodged an FIR against nine persons including Lal Babu Singh, brother of JD(U) legislator from Bibhutipur in Samastipur district, JD(U) leader Kamal Kishore Singh and Panchayat Samiti member Kiran Devi in connection with murder of the journalist on  January  3, 2017, evening by armed criminals. The FIR was lodged with Bibhutipur police station.

Brajkishore was shot dead at Salkhanni brick kiln under Bibhutipur police station. Samastipur SP Nawal Kishore Singh said that police were conducting raids to arrest the accused. Meanwhile, Singhia Ghat bazaar in the district remained close on January 4 in protest against the murder of scribe Brajkishore.
