Patna: Dense fog across Aurangabad district claimed the lives of six persons including five members of a family at Boragaon under Mufassil police station in a road mishap on early on December 12 morning.
Police said that a family was returning to Rohtas from Dhanbad (Jharkhand) after attending a marriage. The four-wheeler dashed against a static truck on NH-2 causing injuries to the five occupants. As the occupants were trying to come out of the vehicle, another truck coming from behind dashed the four-wheeler killing four persons on the spot and seriously injuring two others. The villagers rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to a local hospital where another succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist passing on the said road collided with the debris of the vehicles and was also killed on the spot. Agitated over it, the villagers blocked NH-2 for some time.On getting information, local police reached the spot and cleared the road blockade.
