Patna:Laddan Mian,  who was wanted in connection with the murder of Siwan journalist Rajdev Ranjan, surrendered before the court of chief judicial magistrate, Siwan, on Thursday. He was remanded to 14 days judicial custody.
Laddan, a close associate of the RJD national executive committee member and former Siwan RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin lodged currently in Bhagalpur central jail, had alleegdly played a key role in the murder of Rajdev on May 7, 2016. Four other shooters were arrested earlier. Laddan was in Siwan jail since 2012 and was released on bail last year. Police had earlier got an order of  attachment of his property issued by the competent court. Laddan said he surrendered before the court because of police pressure.
