Patna: Bihar governor Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday released two Maithili books: `Maithili Aaur Panch Thakur’ and `O Kavita Ki’, at Raj Bhavan conference hall. Former union minister and Rajya Sabha member Dr C P Thakur was also present on the occasion.`O Kavita Ki’ has been written by Ganesh Jha while late Sureshwar Jha had written`Maithili Aaur Panch Thakur’. The governor lauded the reach of Mathili and other vernacular languages and said they had enriched Rashtrabhasa Hindi. Dr Thakur stressed on better water management for the development of Mithilanchal.
